You protect yourself through them, vent through them etc, they keep you strong. 
You probably have a deep emotional connection with this character.


    

I guess it would be Wailun. He is one of my very first OCs (he is literally almost ten years old) and a sad little bean. Excellent for venting but he has also grown up with me.

3. Your sunshine!
A character that never fails to make you smile. Maybe they have bright colours. 
or maybe they are very cute. A character who's your own personal sun.

The odd ball character you're not sure why you have, but you treasure them deeply. Perhaps because they're just so weird?

This is WIP but I really don't have any art with just Jancir alone whoops. But Jancir is very important to me. He's easy to work with and he is also hella handsome lmao. But honestly tho I've worked on him so much and he is the one character that was there when I was learning a lot of drawing and writing.

I found this thing from Morbid-Delusions 's tumblr and wanted to give it a shot!

1. Have your tastes changed in sculpts over the years? Yes, I used to like more child-ish looking dolls but now I wish for more realistic dolls. I remember I used to love the Dollzone Mo but no I'm like "boi bye".

2. Do you have pre-made characters for the dolls that you get home which must fit a certain description, or, do you get them home and let inspiration hit? I used to just buy dolls because they were so damn cute but now I wish to shell my precious OCs.

3. What do you do when you get hooked on a particular sculpt and want it home right here, right now but can’t as you have to save or some other reason? suffer D

4. How many dolls are too many to you personally? I think you have too many dolls when you can't remember them all/find dolls you didn't remember you had.

5. What are your thoughts on dolls with already pre-existing characters from movies/books/cartoons/etc.? Personally I'm not interested in them, but if they're done fine they're pretty cool!

6. Acrylic, glass or urethane? And why? Idk man, we just buy the cheapest eyes : D

7. How much does yellowing bother you? What is acceptable before you want something done to liven up that old yellow resin skin? If it matches the head/body and other dolls that are in the same story, it doesn't really bother me.

8. What are your thoughts on anthro BJDs vs actual animal BJDs? I don't have any, but if I had a change to buy one I'd take an animal BJD.

9. How small is too small? How tall is too tall? Or does height even matter to you? I like YOSDs, but I don't like mine??? Like I need to have a character for my dolls and it's harder to come up with a character for a small dolls. Also it's harder to photograph the smaller ones because you need to crouch down in weird angles : D

10. Do you talk with your resin buddies while painting them, dressing them, just because? I talk to them while photographing, especially when they're not feeling like working with me.

11. Do you have a doll you love but will probably never have because finances or impossible to get? Island doll Odin and Loki, they would be perfect for my OCs Jancir and Laoke but gaahhhh so expensive!!?

12. Do you have a favourite clothing company where you go and buy clothing and/or shoes from? My mother makes most of the clothes so I don't even know any clothing companies lmao

13. Your favourite pair of shoes you ever got home? Picture please! I don't have favourite shoes for my dolls, like, they're just shoes??

14. Favourite accessory and, again, picture! Kamalani has some nice stuff

15. How many times have you had to redo a face-up in a day? I don't really do face-ups so I don't even bother re-doing them so I don't waste the sealing.

16. Ever sat screaming and cursing at your sewing machine? Or even if you’ve sown something by hand? Tell us a bit about one of those silly outbursts! I don't sew m8

17. In the past year have you had to find homes for some of your resin buddies? I've sold Iplehouse JID Colin because the body's joints very ugly and he felt so plastic?? 5stardoll Emma was sold because I really don't bond with girl dolls and her face was funny. Angelheim Kyle was sold because he was too realistic to fit in with rest of my crew. Poor kid. 

18. Have you ever made any miniature furniture of any kind or do you prefer to buy it? I've never made any but I've never bought them either. We have some old ones that fit the MSDs but I'd like to do a room for Misha.

19. What would you do if one of your dolls went green or banana yellow? Would you try and salvage the damage somehow by mods and the like, or would you reinvent their character? Ohh, I don't know. Kamalani is quite yellow but atm I don't have any plans to reshell him. It'd be so weird to have him in SD size because he is just a sol cute bean.

20. Ever got two dolls or more home in a year? yeah D

21. Are there a certain theme going style/face-up/accessory/other wise? Or are they all fairly different from one another? When they are in the same story I want them to have wigs from same material and if another one has glass eyes, the other has to have them too. All our face-ups are in the same style because my mother has done them all.

22. How much is too much to pay for a doll/how little is too little? And why? Too much for a doll... I often shake my head when doll is over 1000€. I've seen the Iplehouse panther and it was pretty nice, but most of the expensive dolls I've seen on DoA are just plain ugly?? Too cheap doll... it depends. Of course it's little fishy if someone is selling a Volks doll for 100€ but that's a fine price for a Resinsoul so idk. 

23. Do you do mods? Show us some of your work! Would you do them on rare/limited sculpts? I've never done any mods.

24. Do you prefer getting dolls home blank so that you can do your own face-up, or, do you prefer to have the company paint them for you? Blank dolls ftw

25. Do you keep up with the various companies releases, events and the like? Nope, I don't have the money for that : D

26. Ever hated having to cover up a body with clothing because the sculpting was absolutely divine and you’d rather just be able to watch all that naked glory for all time? I love the details on my Luts Senior Delf boy, but the body type is not my fave so.

27. What is your favourite wig brand? I don't have one.

28. How many pairs of shoes do you own for your dolls? so many 

29. How many wigs do you have for your dolls? I don't even know, a lot

30. Do you have a favourite set of clothing? Do you own it? And if, picture please! I only have one full set and I don't use it so... Most of our clothes are made by my mother so I can combine them as I want.

31. Do you have a favourite outfit you’ve made yourself? I still don't sew m8

32. Ever commissioned someone? And what for? Basically, because my poor mother has to do the face-ups and clothes and hair for my dolls.

33. How many pair of eyes do you have, spare and in use combined? gah, no clue

34. Ever called in sick because of an incoming package? nope

35. What have been you longest wait? And the shortest? From a week to over three months?

36. Do you prefer shooting single shots or group pictures? Single shots because group pics are so damn hard ahhhhh

37. Do you prefer male or female dolls? Male! : D

38. Ever had that one piece of accessory you could never quite find and are still searching for years later? nope

39. Ever had trouble settling for a sculpt for a given character and had to buy multiple sculpts home before finding that perfect one? Nope?

40. Do you keep a journal in where you write all of your doll related ideas and plans even if they wont always come to fruition? Nope, I just go with the flow

41. Ever shot some naughty naked/nude pictures? If not, why? Nope, all our dolls are too innocent xD

42. What are the longest time you’ve had a layaway running? If you’ve never done one, why are you refraining from making use of this service? I haven't refraining for it, I've just never needed it.

43. Do you mind not being able finding a whole lot of pictures of a given sculpt you want home or do you like it’s exclusivity? I like to see owner pics because they're often more realistic than the company photos.

44. Are you more of a share all the pictures type of person or more of a keeping them all to yourself and only share a select few? I'll only share a select few because most of my pics look the same.

45. How good are you at sticking to your plans if, say, you told yourself you only were to bring home one more this year and then go on a break? I don't know, I've never had to stick to a budget : D

46. What doll body is your favourite? They're all so different I don't know ahhh

47. Who in your resin crew has gone through the biggest transformation since arrival? Kamalani. I bought him the be a cute fairy key kid but he ended up as a wolf child in a dystopian world with no family.

48. Do you pamper some more than others? Sohail is my precious baby

49. Ever bought something (dolls, clothing, accessories) that looked amazing in the pictures but turned out to be nothing like it upon arrival? Once I bought a head (Only doll Ting Yun) and I was like 101% sure it'd be like I wanted and fit the character it was for. Nope. It looked really weird and the mouth was ugly and yhh.

50. What are your continued plans for this year? I don't think so
